Our Story
Founded in 2004, Grimsby in Bloom is a multi-award-winning organisation committed to enhancing our community through impactful projects that bring people together and celebrate the beauty of our shared spaces. Since taking over the Pavilion in The Duke of York Gardens in 2018, we’ve gone from strength to strength, transforming the Pavilion into a vibrant hub for community spirit.
Our achievements include a Silver Gilt in the prestigious Britain in Bloom competition, multiple Gold awards in East Midlands in Bloom, and the Civic Award in the Grimsby area. Additionally, we’re proud to have consistently earned Level 5, Outstanding, each year in the RHS ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ program.
Guided by the RHS pillars of community, environment, and horticulture, we focus on sustainable projects that foster pride in Grimsby, deepen our connections, and leave a lasting, positive impact on our surroundings.
